Betty Jane Shipley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jane Shipley of Hagerstown, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jane Shipley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Lewis Weller and Frances Lillian Weller Funk (Fox); her husband Vernon William "Bill" Shipley Jr.; and her siblings, Alice Weller, Mae Mills, Lillie Younker, Frank Weller and John Weller.
She is survived by: her children, Jacqueline Hemphill (Kevin) of Clear Spring, Tina Reedy (Lynn) of Hagerstown, MD, Richard Mills (Debra) of Hagerstown and Michael Mills (Laura Trayer) of Williamsport, MD; and her sister Dolly McCarty of Hagerstown. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
