Betty Jane Thomas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jane Thomas of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Griffith Sr. and Esther Long (Clevenger); her brother Donald W. Griffith Jr.; and her former husband Gary E. Thomas Sr. (Tippy). She is survived by: her children, Gary E. Thomas, Jr. (Debbie) of Fairplay and Tammie S. Thomas of Hagerstown; her pet Angela; her granddaughters, Courtney Jeter of Gilbert, AZ and Katie Thomas of Goodyear, AZ; Catherine McSherry (Dave, Sr.). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A burial will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Cedar Lawn Memorial Park (17636 W Washington St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
