Betty M. Kitchen Obituary
In loving memory of Betty M. Kitchen of Hagerstown, Maryland, who departed this world on June 1, 2025 at the age of 98. Betty leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Jackson Kitchen; her parents, Josiah Itnyre and Elsie Itnyre (Biser); her son Robert P. Kitchen; her granddaughter Tammy Mumma; her great grandchildren, Cory and Michael; and her sister Irene Ruppenthall.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean Clopper (Edward), Kenneth Leon Kitchen (Liz), Ronald Lee Kitchen Sr. (Rita), Barbara Ann Hallmark and Deborah Kay Grim (Dave). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 32 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home (7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Boonsboro Cemetery Cemetery (64 S Main St, Boonsboro, MD 21713).
