She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Shirey and Irene Shirey (Aushermen); her brother Warren Shirey; and her husband Robert Elwood Rice. She is survived by: her children, Robin Rice (Mary) and Joel Rice (Melissa); her grandchildren, Patrica King (Dave), Brian Meck (Kristie) and E. Allen Summers Jr. (Anna); her great grandchildren, Brianna, Isaac, Keira, Noah, Carter, Audrey and Landon; and her sibling's children, Deb Smoot, Sheri O'Donnell, Randy Shirey, Bret O'Donnell and Tom Nagle.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
