He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Lyon and Virginia Margaret Lyon (Stine); his former wife Rosemary Lyon (Foster); his son Steven Lyon; and his siblings, Robert Lyon and Mary (Alan Hinton).
He is survived by: his wife Karen (Martin); his daughter-in-law Deanna Lyon (Hurd); and his sister-in-law Edie Lyon. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and seven great- great grandchildren.
