He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wallace and Mildred Wallace; his brother William "Bill" Wallace; and his children, Sheri Gemmel and Matthew Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Wallace; his children, Brian Wallace (Katie) and Jenette Wallace; his daughter-in-law Gretchen Harris; his grandchildren, Sydney Gemell, Kaylyn, Leanne, Mandy Harris, Brady, Landon, Aiden Wallace and Ava Sheynker; and his brother Bob Wallace (Libby).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doey's House, Hagerstown, Maryland, or the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department.
