He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Harry Hamby and Charlotte Belle Hamby (Robinson); and his brother Wayne David Hamby. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jean Hamby; his stepsons, J. W. Randall and Russell Randall; his grandchildren, Mariah, Paris, Austin, Ayden, Mason and Cason Randall; his great grandchild Dalen Randall; his siblings, Gregory L. Hamby, Dennis T. Hamby and Kimberly Loop (Charles); his siblings-in-law, Earl Fitzgerald, Jr. (Janice) and Barbara L. Wigginton; his nephew Todd Brennan; and his grandson Logan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
