With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Susan Divelbiss of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andrew and Alma O'Toole (Tomlinson); her husband Dennis H. Divelbiss; her brother William A. O'Toole III; her sister-in-law Jennie Divelbiss; and her uncle Alfred Tomlinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana K. Gray (Neal) of Hagerstown, MD and Sally A. Rogers (Steve) of Hagerstown, MD.; her grandchildren, Evan Gray, Lukas Rogers and Jackson Rogers; her siblings-in-law, Eleanor O'Toole, James R. Divelbiss (Belinda), J. Gary Divelbiss and Cheryl Divelbiss (Alan); and her nephews, Bryan Laffernan, Gary Divelbiss (Karen Divelbiss), Jamie Divelbiss and William O'Toole (Colleen Kessler).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
