She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Routzahn and Virginia Louise Routzahn (Groff); and her brother John Thomas Routzahn, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Christian Wright III; her children, Frederick Christian Wright IV (Julie) and Virginia Wright Durham (William); her grandchildren, Frederick Christian Wright V, Laura Katherine Wright, Frederick Canton Durham, Peter Morgan Durham (Landen) and Elizabeth Caroline Durham; and her great grandchildren, Emerson William Durham and Emilia Morgan Durham.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Episcopal Church (101 S Prospect St, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Caroline's memory to the Hagerstown Day Nursery, 102 E. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD; St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect Street, Hagerstown, MD; or the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, 401 Museum Drive, Hagerstown, MD.
