With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn June Benner of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on February 4, 2026 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Yohe and Catherine L. Yohe (Barnhart); her husband Robert L. Benner, Sr.; her son Joseph L. Horst; and her siblings, Gladys Hershey, Judith Green, Beverly Gamble, Sharon Ardinger, Clifford Yohe, Sr., Cornelius Yohe, Sr., Glenn Yohe and Michael Yohe.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Blair (David), Carolyn Rickard and Edward Horst; and her grandchildren, Amanda Jenkins, Meghan Taylor (Aaron), Kristina Jenkins and Kristofer Blair. She is also survived by three great grandchildren and numerous step children, step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
