We bid farewell to Charles Albert Shank of Hagerstown, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 14, 2024 at the age of 95. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bruce A. Shank and Mary Mae Shank (Bartles); and his siblings, Ethel I. Drury, Helen V. French, Earl A. Shank and George C. Shank.

He is survived by : his wife Fay E. Shank; his sons, Bruce "Sonny" L. Shank (Becky), Charles R. Shank (Melissa) and Wayne L. Shank (Dottie); his sisters, Anna Mae Harnish, Mary "Gertie" Gladhill and Betty J. Boyd; and also Ronald L. Shank (Nancy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Evangel Baptist Church (17922 Broadfording Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
