He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Cunningham (Doc) and Sara Catherine Cunningham (Cat); and his siblings, Vivian Wetzel, Doris Darlington, Jeanie Reiff, H. L. Cunningham Jr. and Jack F. Cunningham.
He is survived by: his children, Greenley, Ruby, Hadley, Carthy and Cable Aleshire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
