He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Elwood and Lea Ruth Martin (Brandenburg); his son Wilbur Martin II; and his brother Mark Martin. He is survived by: his wife Fay Martin; his grandson Christopher Payne; his mother-in-law Barbara Smothers; and his siblings-in-law, Benta Keesee and Basil Clem.
