We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 89, Charles Wilbur Baechtel Jr. of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wilbur Baechtel, Sr. and Gladys Eileen Baechtel (Semler); his wife Elva Baechtel (Wiles); his son Jason Douglas Baechtel; his brothers, Thomas and James Baechtel; his granddaughter Paris Snurr; and his aunts, Nancy and Betty.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Lee Baechtel (Susan), Kimberly Eileen Snurr (Robert) and Renee Lynne Jones (Monty); and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Caitlin, Timber, Tyler, Ali, Charles, Daniel and Erin. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
