He was predeceased by: his brother Christopher Toddman Cox; and his grandson Elijah Alexander. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Burton and Anne Elizabeth Cox of Funkstown; his close friend Serena Leippi of Hagerstown; his daughters, Megan (Rory) of Hagerstown, Lauren (Luke) of Hagerstown, Caitlin (Joe) of Hagerstown and Alexandria (Trevor) of Hagerstown; and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Mollie, Leopold, Callaghan, Evelyn, Carolina, Viveka, Milo, Ahri and Camden.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish to express sympathy consider a donation to celebrate all that Hunter would have loved to do with his grandkids.
