She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bru" Slagle and Betty Slagle; her sister Sandy Hiteshew; and her friend Robert "Bobby" Rerko. She is survived by: her daughters, Corissa Furr and Shannon Furr; her son-in-law Gary Ward Jr.; and her grandsons, Dylan Ward, Gavin Ward and Ian Ward. She is also survived by her great-grandson; her brother-in-law; her nieces and nephew; extended family; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
