It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Frederick Smith of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Smith and Corena Rae Smith (Gasket); and his siblings, Patricia Racut, Eunice Breth, Carlene Varis, Bernice Riggs, Patrick Smith, David Smith, Elry McCray, Victor Smith and John Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Nicole E. Smith; his son Daniel N. Smith (Mary Nave); his grandchildren, Corena and Kaycie Smith; and his nephews, Ronnie Smith (Julie) and Patrick Alan Smith.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
