It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Sprecher Hoffman of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce N. Hoffman Sr. and Elva Hoffman (Sprecher); and his son Todd A. Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Marian O. Hoffman (Nealis); his sons, Mark D. Hoffman (Judy) of Clear Spring and Gregory L. Hoffman of Berkeley Springs, WV; his brother Bruce N. Hoffman Jr. of Hagerstown; his grandchildren, Beth Lewis, Rebecca Grant, Alyse Ferguson, Aubrey Hoffman, Nicholas Hoffman, Tyler Hoffman and Joshua Hoffman; and his caregiver Edward Turner. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David's honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
