He was predeceased by: his parents, Earmon Lee Shifflett, Sr. and Era Elizabeth Shifflett (Vines); his wife Connie Mae Shifflett (Brewer); his siblings, Marie Elizabeth Punt (Shifflett) and Charles Bernard Shifflett; and his daughter-in-law Karen Diane Shifflett (Hayes).
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Lee Shifflett and Debra Kay (Shifflett) Hansen (Dwight); his grandchildren, Nicole Shifflett (John), Adam Shifflett (Niki), Eric Johns (Hollie), April Hennessey (Sean), Ashley Ritchie (Johnathan), Nikki Boyd (Zach) and Shelley Jones; and his great grandchildren, Cienna, Camden, Emmy, Caspian, Eli, Malina, Zoe, Zander, Halie and Paislie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
