He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy M. Ellis; and his grandson Josh Plyler. He is survived by: his wife Sharon R. Thomas; his daughters, Wendy Thomas and Julie Reese (John); and his grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Codee and Kaylie. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
