We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2023, at the age of 87, Elmer Ellsworth Long Jr. of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Boonsboro, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freda Mildred (Roser) and Elmer Ellsworth Long, Sr.; his wife Elsie Long; his daughter Kathy Marie Shirley; and his granddaughter Bobbi Renee Snyder.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Funkhouser (Scott), Freda Fitzpatrick (Tom), Eva Ramos (Jose), John Long (Janet) and Dillon Shirley (Susan); and his grandchildren, Angela Miles (Tim), Jessica Long (Marvin), Joshua Ramos (Karien) and Jacob Ramos (Autumn). He is also survived by two sisters; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
