It is with sadness that the passing of Fay Elizabeth Shank of Hagerstown, Maryland is shared. Fay, born on April 10, 1931, passed away on September 24, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fay Elizabeth Shank to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lewis and Hannah Susan Grove (Shank); her husband Charles A. Shank; and her siblings, Helen Barbara Shank, John, Daniel, Clyde, Roger and Ernest Hub Grove.
She is survived by: her sons, Bruce "Sonny" Shank, Charles "Chuck" R. Shank and Wayne L. Shank; Ronald L. Shank. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evangel Baptist Church (17922 Broadfording Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Fay's name to Golden Girls, 1127 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
