He was predeceased by: his parents, Amon Jacobs and Martha Jacobs (Miller); his wife Lillian Jacobs; his children, Fred Jacobs Jr. and Janet Burkey; and his siblings, Mary Jacobs, Ralph Jacobs and Louise Salisbury.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Matson, Bonnie Giffin and Dianne Jacobs; his brother Charles Jacobs; his daughter-in-law Karen Jacobs; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Jacobs. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
