He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Anthony Mitchell and Helen Mary Mitchell (Maciag); and his brother Jacob A. Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Cherie L. Mitchell (Gipe); his daughter Jennifer M. Wilhide (James); his grandchildren, Bailey M. Wilhide, Bryce J. Wilhide and Brinley M. Wilhide; and his sister Pamela D. Hardy (Donald). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
