He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Kendrick and Julia Elizabeth Kendrick (Robeson); his wife Nancy May Kendrick (Sullivan); his stepson John L. Fallon; and his siblings, Frederick, Frank Kendrick, Bettye Wiand, Sarah Soper and Cleo Stone.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah M. "Debbie" Kendrick and Betty J. "Beth" Kendrick; and his pets, Hercules and Popeye.
