He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Caniford, and George Caniford, Jr.; his brother Frank Merrbaugh II; and his grandson Ashton Caniford. He is survived by: his wife Susie Caniford; his son George (Dayjour Caniford); his grandchildren, Dasan, Gracelyn, Aubrey, Karli, Ashmir, Adryan, Priya and Jayden; his son Ryan Caniford; his daughter-in-law Kara Malott; his grandchildren, Ryan Jr. (RJ) and Zoeigh; and his siblings, Jeffrey Caniford (Mary Burkett), Dixie Pheil (Jeff), Tina Caniford (Pat) and Lisa Wishard (Ray Chavarria). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
