He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Spangler and Helen Spangler (Straub). He is survived by: his wife Dorine Spangler; his children, George William Spangler II (Kristi), Tammi Pauline Fuller (Howard "Howie") and Sean-Paul William Spangler (Megan Alsip); his brother Edward Eugene Spangler; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Brianna Spangler, Gabrielle, Blake Fuller and Alex-Zander Spangler; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Gossard and Nora Larrimore. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
