She was predeceased by: her parents, John Calvin Bowers, Jr. and Rachael Bowers (Smith) of Virginia. She is survived by: her husband Richard Clem; and her siblings, Carleen McBee of Herndon, VA and Kirby Bowers of Sunset Beach, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
