He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray S. Brandenburg and Rae I. Brandenburg (Hauver); his wife Elizabeth Ann Brandenburg; and his siblings, Ray Brandenburg, Jr., Gene Brandenburg, Arthur Brandenburg, Betty Burgee and Carolyn Fishack.
He is survived by: his sons, Harold A. Brandenburg, Jr. (Linda) of Hagerstown, MD and Jeffrey L. Brandenburg (Lauri) of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, William A. Brandenburg, D. Nicholas Brandenburg, John O. Brandenburg and Joanna Rae Brandenburg; and his sisters, Judi Brandenburg and Nancy Brandenburg.
