It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Amy Churchey of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Clear Spring, Maryland, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Viola Whittington Llewellyn and McLucas; her husband Cecil C. Churchey; and her brothers, Robert L., William L. and Ray E. Whittington.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert C. Churchey (Mary Ann) of Gettysburg, Richard F. Churchey (Barbara) of Waynesboro, Donald E. Churchey (Vicki) of Hagerstown and David A. Churchey (Alley) of Falling Waters; and her siblings, Richard Whittington of Hagerstown, Samuel Whittington of Greencastle, Dorothy Mongan of Hagerstown, Sandra Lewis of Maugansville, Wanda Boyer of Hagerstown, Betty Rohrer of Williamsport and Jean Cunningham of W. Va. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
