She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" L. Kirkpatrick; her parents, Glen T. Nutter and Alice S. Nutter; and her sister Kathleen D. Wright. She is survived by: her children, Beth Ward (Dan), Jeff Kirkpatrick (Carol) and Tod Kirkpatrick (Julie); and her grandchildren, Joseph Ward (Laura), Jason Kirkpatrick (Kara), Scott Kirkpatrick, Colleen Ward (Bryan Broomall), Lauren Burroughs (James) and Heather Kirkpatrick (Kathryn Hemphill). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home (7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
