We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2026, at the age of 87, Ira Kline Drury Sr. of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Ira departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ira. Though Ira may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nelson Drury Sr. and Olive Mae Drury; and his siblings, Jane Robinson, Betty Davis, Nelson and Preston Drury.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Jenny" Drury (Smith); and his son Ira K. "Chuck" Drury Jr. of Hagerstown, MD. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
