It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Brown of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Cumberland, Maryland, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Canvy Brown and Elva Mae Brown (Hinkle); and his brother Joe M. Brown. He is survived by: his wife Bonna Jean Brown (Knippenberg); his sons, Mark A. Brown (Monica Morgan), Michael A. Brown (Rebecca) and Matthew A. Brown; his brother Roger L. Brown (Carol); and his sister-in-law Patricia Brown. He is also survived by four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two nephews and one niece.
