He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mason Manuel and Stella Manuel (LaRue) of Virginia; his siblings, Calvin of Harpers Ferry, WV, Morris of Charles Town, WV, Edith Buford of Ranson, WV and Margaret Breeden of Charles Town, WV; and his nephew Todd Davidson of Ranson, WV..

He is survived by: his wife Jaqueline J. Manuel (Mullendore); his daughter Marilyn V. Smith of Hagerstown; his grandson Chris A. Smith (April) of Hagerstown; his great grandchildren, Hunter and Addison Smith of Hagerstown; and his nephews, Troy, Jason Breeden, Dale and Dennis Manuel.
