James Robert Lemmert Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Lemmert of Hagerstown, Maryland, born in Frostburg, Maryland, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren A. Lemmert and F. Louise Lemmert (Hanson); his wife G. Lorraine Lemmert (Ingleton); his brother William Lemmert; and his wife Sonia "Sunny".
He is survived by: his children, Diane L. Hart (George) of Canton, James R. Lemmert, Jr. (Jo Ann) of Chesterfield and Kenneth S. Lemmert (Stephanie) of Southport, N. C.; his brother Howard H. Lemmert (Linda) of Frostburg; and his close friend Ruth Baker of Cumberland. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions facial coverings and social distancing will be observed and no more than 60 people at one time in the funeral home. Funeral services and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Covenant Presbyterian Church or to Shriners Hospital for Children.
