He was predeceased by: his father Timothy E. Schindel; and his grandparents, Patricia J. Booth, James A. Booth, Charles Franklin "Tankie", Grace Schindel and Anne M. Seibert.
He is survived by: his mother Linda C. Schindel (Booth); his wife Cassandra Renee Schindel; his children, Kacee M. Schindel (Brandon Snyder), Rickelle N. Morales, James Timothy S. Schindel, Carter J. Schindel and Ripken J. Schindel; his brother Jon; his sister-in-law Lori Aleshire; his brother Kris; his sister-in-law Tenneille Aleshire; his brother Alex; his sister-in-law Johnna Aleshire; his nieces and nephews, Nick, Greenley, Ruby, Hadley, Carthy, Cable, Stevie and Jackson Aleshire; his parents-in-law, Rick and Cheryl Aleshire; his aunts and uncles, Toni, Steve Tracey, Steve Booth, Lance Booth and Kristen Barnett; his cousins, Ryan (Kelly Heaton), Jacob and Samantha Heaton; and his godparents, Dave and Nan Myers.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of James for the benefit of his children c/o Ashley Miller 17746 Bluebell Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
