With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jane L. Poffenberger (Hagerstown, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lochbaum (Locky) and Dolly White Lochbaum; and her significant other Phil. She is survived by: her child Jade Lynn Poffenberger of Hagerstown, MD; her grandchildren, Gerhard M. Klein and Daniela A. M. Milosavljevic; her great grandchild Mia Eleonora (Alexandra Jane Klein); and her siblings, Beverly A. Brash of Toledo, OH, Charles A., Linda Messersmith of Joshua Tree, CA and D. Alfreda Wishard of Williamsport, MD. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, in memory of the youngsters she lost to cancer while teaching, or to First Christian Church in Hagerstown, MD.
