We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2025, at the age of 94, Janet Mae Ford of Hagerstown, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick B. Geyer and Helen E. Geyer (Ragan); her husband Francis R. Ford (Dick); and her sisters-in-law, Rosie Ford and Annette Tennett.
She is survived by: her son Michael Ford (Marlisa Maar) of Edgewater, MD; her grandchildren, Chris Ford and Erin Saumenig; her daughters, Maureen Ford-Rippeon (Scott Rippeon) of Pasadena, MD and Patricia Shryock (Larry Shryock) of West River, MD; her grandchildren, Paige Edenfield (Trey), Emily Shryock (James Lane), Eileen Ford of Potomac, MD, Jack, Will and Maggie Haines; and her brother-in-law William J. Ford of Bangor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (1525 Oak Hill Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
