She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Samuel Walters and Cora Mae Walters (Barnhart); and her siblings, Patricia Eichelberger (Pat), Margaret Hawbaker (Peg), Helen Bowers, William Walters (Bill) and Gary Walters.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Burger (Susie), Donna Hutzell (Phil), Debra Shank (Elmer), Dena Wright (Larry), Gregory Custer (Stacy) and Douglas Custer (Lee Ann); her close friend James Minnick (Buddy); her siblings, Martha "Kit" Gehr, Carole Martin, Henry "Charlie" Walters, James "Jim" Walters and Robert "Bobby" Walters; and her children, National Hospital Foundation, Attn, Gift Administration and Floor of Silver Spring, MD. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
