He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Lynn Crist (Kuhn); his grandparents, Bernard, Henrietta Kuhn, Arley and Martha Crist; and his uncle Charles Johnston, Jr..
He is survived by: his father Stephen L. Crist; his stepmothers, Joni Crist and Debbie Elwood; his wife Starla M. Crist (Byers); his children, Sean S. Crist and Elisabeth A. Crist; his stepdaughters, Kelsie Byers and Katlyn Davis; his grandchildren, Poppy, Weston Shatzer, Orion and Reign (Aurora Spencer); his sisters, Lynley Higgins (Robert) and Sarah Fleming (Drew); his sister-in-law Tammy Anderson (Peter); his aunt Pamela Johnston; and his cousin Tina McVicker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital, one of his favorite charities to which he routinely made contributions.
