He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Carter and Nanette Gilbert Carter; and his brother Christian Carter. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Carter; his daughter DesiRee Carter (Hagerstown, MD); his stepson Jimmy Fiddler (Carthage); his sister Terra Carter Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Kaylee Scott, Hagerstown, MD, Jimmy Fiddler Jr., Kelsea Preiss, Salem Fiddler, Della Fiddler and Carter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jl Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783).
In true Jerry fashion, the family asks that instead of flowers, you bring your best stories, your biggest appetites, and maybe even a milkshake—because Jerry wouldn't want a room full of tears when it could be full of laughs and good food.
