He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Monroe; his stepfather Eugene Monroe; his father Kenneth Keyes Sr.; his sister Angela Rollins; and his mother-in-law Shirley Knode.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Keyes; his daughters, Renee Frye and Tiffany Frye; his grandchildren, Alvin "AJ" Cook of Hagerstown, Celena Holman of Hagerstown, Tyree Grantham of Hagerstown, Ja'Quita Twyman of Hagerstown, Geranda Williams of Washington, DC. and La'Tasha Cook of Washington, DC.; his siblings, Norma Pompey (Mike) of Hagerstown, Kenny Keyes (Geri) of Hagerstown, Sharon Campbell of West Virginia and Rodney Monroe (Judy) of North Carolina; and his brothers-in-law, Rodney Campbell and John Rollins. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
