It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Kunde of Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on October 19, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanne Kunde to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Martha (Kehl) and Norman Clyde Sink; her husband Virgil George Kunde; and her granddaughter Nicole Marie Ashby. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Kunde (Karen) of Myersville, MD, Kathy Casidy (David) of Smithsburg and Karen Bobbitt of Smithsburg; her grandchildren, Shannon Skinner (Chris), Justin Casidy (Lynh), Matthew Bobbitt (Jess), Natalie Bobbitt and Melanie Bobbitt; her great grandchildren, Lincoln, Andrew, Jace Skinner and Kayla Ashby; and her siblings, Nancy Myers (David) and Bob Sink (Caroline). She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jl Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (12704 Wolfsville Rd, Smithsburg, MD 21783).
