He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl Hamilton and Brownie Louise Hamilton (Carter). He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Hamilton; and his children, Jennifer Bryan (Chris), Joe Hamilton, Jr. (Dawn) and Jeffrey Hamilton (Kristi). He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
