He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Gladys Alberta Frey (Trovinger); his wife Shianna Lee Frey; and his daughter Doris Amy Frey. He is survived by: his children, John Frey, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD, Shelly Frey and Melissa Frey of Hagerstown, MD; his siblings, Billy Frey of Westminster, MD and Alberta Raines of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Cory Frey, Nathaniel Frey, Jacob Frey, Kameron Frey, Shiann Kinna, Serenity Lattie and Amy Frey of Hagerstown, MD; and his great grandchildren, Waylon Frey and Noah Frey.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Minnich Funeral Home (415 E Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
