He was predeceased by: his parents, John David Lewis and Treva Eleanora Ritenour Lewis; and his sisters, Shirley Vada Lewis Blevins, Peggy Lewis Roser and Judy Lewis Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra D. Lewis; his children, John Lewis, Tiffany, Christopher, Nicholas Lewis and Holly; his great grandchildren, Carson, Caiden, Nicholas, Ryann, Lyla and Liam; his children, Zach Gewinner and Cassie; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Gewinner, Louis and Jack Gewinner; his children, Connor and Brennan Lewis; and his sisters, Sharon Whipp (Charles) and Nancy Lewis Ridenour. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army of Hagerstown Corps.
