He is survived by: his children, Joseph Wilson, Jr., Nichole Jones, Chandra Spriggs (Frank) and Wendy Durst (James); his siblings, Wilson and Shirley Myers; his great-nephew Gene Wilson, Jr.; and also Madison Tarmon. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
