He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Henderson and Thelma Henderson; his sisters, Irma Branch, Diane Dickson, Silvia Scott and Claudia Fuller (Merrill); his wife Ruby Henderson (Sager); his siblings, John Henry Johnson, Leroy Alton Henderson and Mary Janet Henderson; his brothers-in-law, Marshall Branch, Lawrence Dickson Sr. and Winston Scott Sr.; his sons-in-law, Oliver Campher Jr. and Cecil Campbell; and his grandchildren, Dwight Lewis Jr., Joey Diamond Campbell, Wesley Burnett Jr., Fernando Broadus Jr., Keenan Joseph Lewis, Maceo Burns and Angel Campher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Beck (Todd), Debra Camper, Doris Campbell and Molly Smith (Andy); his granddaughter Cilena Lewis; and his adoptive son Oliver Campher III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
