She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Steinmetz, Jr. and Dorothy Steinmetz (Bishop); her son Paul F. Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Elizabeth Andrews (Steinmetz), Arthur, Abner and John Steinmetz.
She is survived by: her sons, Brandon Steinmetz and Christopher Brooks (Jazmin); her grandchildren, Tashaya Steinmetz, Jamiyah Brooks, Kennedy Steinmetz, Brynnan and Carter Steinmetz; and her siblings, Ruth (Steinmetz), Hunt (Mark), Tina Meisenhalder (Steinmetz) and James Peer (Maryann). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
