He was predeceased by: his father Michael Lee Heerd; his grandfather Gary Butts Sr.; his aunt Tammy Murphy; and his uncle Clyde Butts. He is survived by: his mother Telisa Butts (Chad Keith); his son Julian Heerd; his brothers, A. J. Nicholl and Amarie "Bama" McMath; and his grandmothers, Rebecca Butts (Buddy Pitsnogle) and Sally Spessard.
